Bahia Kino

Bahia Kino is located 117 km to the west of Hermosillo in the
State of Sonora, Mexico.

Bahia Kino is a beautiful bay with white sand beaches where you can practice aquatic sports (swimming, diving, skiing, fishing, etc).

The town of Kino has several hotels and restaurants. Seri Indians display and sell their singular handicrafts such as:

• carved iron and wood figures

• wickerwork

• musical instruments

• rag dolls and necklace made of shells

• snake bones

• seeds

• clay beads

Four kilometers out the sea, is found the Isla Tiburon (Shark Island); a reserve for protecting wild flora and fauna. This island is a shelter for wild sheep,
mule deer and all kind of animals that dwel in the desert of State of Sonora.
