Tlaquepaque

Tlaquepaque is located in the metropolitan area of the city of Guadalajara in the State of Jalisco, Mexico only 8 kms (5 mi.) away from downtown.

The Tlaquepaque main attractions are:

• The Nuestra Señora de la Soledad Sanctuary with its Romanticist and Neoclassic-style facade

• The San Pedro Apostol Parish, Neoclassic and Renaissance-style

• The Regional Museum of Ceramics

• The blowing glass factory, where one can see how handicrafts are made

Located just 10 kms (6 mi.) further of Tlaquepaque is Tonala, a place known for its Handicraft Tianguis (market), which can be visited on Thursdays and Sundays.

• La Reina Hill, a mirador from where a beautiful view of the city of Guadalajara can be enjoyed
