Texcoco

Texcoco is located only 42 km east of Mexico City via federal highway 132D in the
State of Estado de Mexico, Mexico.

Among its main attractions are:

• An old building which is a part of what was the first school in the Americas

• The Franciscan Convent built in the XVI century

• The Chapel of La Concepcion

• La Casa de los Constituyentes Museum

• The Chapels of San Pedro and San Juanico, built in the XVI century

In Texcoco sunday is the day of Tianguis.

Regarding the outstanding handicrafts, these are represented by wood furniture and onyx items. There is also a vacational campament with swimming pools and cabins.
