Chalma
 

.Chalma is located 115 km from Mexico City via federal highway 15 and state highway 4
in the State of Estado de Mexico, Mexico.

Chalma is a traditional meeting point of catholic pilgrims due to the legendary apparition of the Señor de Chalma.

Only 10 km from Chalma is found Malinalco, a typical town situated between frutal orchards.

Among its main attractions are:

  • An archaeological site, with a building carved in only one stone block of the mountain, one of four of its same kind existent in the world

  • The Augustinian Convent, built in the XVI century

  • The center called El Molino
