This town is one of the most beautiful and charming towns in the Western of
Mexico its cobble stone streets, red tiled roofs and the magnificent views
of the volcano's, one of them very active ( Volcano of Fire ) and the Nevado
de Colima with more than 4000 thousand meters over the sea level, make Comala the best place to enjoy the experience of the regional lunch.
To get there, you head towards the small town of Comala. You may drive or take taxi from the city for about fifty pesos.
When you reach the river
before the Comala, turn to the right and pass the botanero. The road, Calle
Degollado, winds by country estates for several Comala is a middle-size city about six miles from the state capital of Colima. It is famous for its volcano, furniture makers, and architecture and should be equally well known for its food.
