.Cuauhtemoc is located 82 km to the west of Chihuahua City, by the federal highway No. 16
in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Cuauhtemoc is an important cattle and farming town known as the Granero del Estado.

The Mennonite immigrants who established here in 1921 are famous for the Chihuahua or Mennonite cheese;
they also produce wheat, oat and corn.

To the east of Cuauhtemoc, on highway 16, there is a turn off that after a scant 10 km northward leads to the towns of Anahuac and Bustillos and La Laguna de Bustillos, where you can engage in water sports and admire the duck, geese and crane, fowl in danger of extinction and here in Cuauhtemoc are cared and protected.
